Network Marketing from Home: The Wave of the Future in MLM

Network Marketing from Home: Don't reinvent the wheel

Although the concept of Network Marketing has been around for ages (Amway immediately comes to mind), the progress of technology in the computer industry has transformed the way they're doing business. One of the largest obstacles multi level marketers faced in the early days was in the recruitment, training and ongoing education of their distributors.

Today, the majority of the large Network Marketing companies have excellent informational websites and offer their distributors an easy way to do business via the World Wide Web. In most cases, distributors can sign up, create their own Internet stores, and launch their marketing campaigns right from their living rooms.

As the computer industry remains competitive, the prices for desktop and laptop computers continue to fall, virtually guaranteeing the presence of either one or the other in most American homes. The availability of high speed Internet connections make it easier, faster and more affordable to stay connected.

From the software vantage, programs are now available that automate record-keeping, make the calculations and processing of rewards instantaneous, and even allow us to file our income taxes without ever leaving home.

Autoresponders generate instantaneous responses to all inquiries; traffic exchanges allow us to market to alternative markets and listbuilders help us quickly identify target-marketing opportunities. With all the help available at our fingertips today, multi level marketers who are seriously working their businesses are bound to be successful.

When you choose your Network Marketing business, it's imperative that you investigate the tools that they offer to help you build your business. Companies that are truly focused on your success will have already researched these tools and should provide information on obtaining them on their website.

If your chosen company offers web space, setting up your personal page and your Internet shopping page should be a priority. If it isn't something that's offered to distributors, most hosting services run less than $100 a year and includes free templates and site builders within their programs.

It has become increasingly easier for the average American to create personal webspace. There is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't have one. Secondly, spend the money to purchase your own domain name. These too, are relatively cheap and it's important that people can find you easily. A domain that includes your own name is preferable, as it's easy to remember.

Once you have your website up and running, take the time to research some of your competitors. Most of the tools that they're using are readily available either for free or for a small fee. If you see something you like, do a search, find out where it came from and try it yourself. It's imperative that you utilize as many of the tools that you can.

The reason they're out there is because someone else had a need for them and they've stayed around because they work.

The Importance of Training for Network Marketers

Let's face it, most of you who jumped on the Network Marketing bandwagon, did so because you were extremely frustrated with your career. To make your financial dreams come true, it's important that you realize the importance of ongoing training. Building a sales organization is not a simple task.

Good training programs will teach you not only the basics but will increase your profit substantially. As you begin to build your downline, your distributors will look to you for their training and having a solid program to share with them will ensure your success as well as theirs.

The important thing to remember when looking for a good training program is that others have done this very successfully, they are the ones you want to learn from and mimic.
Training programs available to network marketers can show you how to effectively market your product.

Although most of you have computers in your homes and offices, very few people understand the ins and outs of using the internet as a marketing tool. A few of the most important things you need to know include: how to write effective ads and powerful sales letters, how to set up a system that allows you to contact prospects regularly, how to use the internet effectively, how to manage and motivate your downline and how to add additional revenue streams without increasing your workload.

Other available programs offer training in communication skills designed to help network marketers eliminate rejection, anxiety and fear that many people feel when talking to others about their programs. There are programs available to improve your listening skills and that teach you how to think positively.

There are even programs that will help you with goal setting, organization and self motivation. There are also training programs that deal directly with helping you wade through and procure the best possible types of leads for your particular business.

The best thing, however, about the plethora of training programs being offered today is that many of them are inexpensive and easily accessible from your very own computer. If you're serious about this business and plan to make it a full-time career or you've had moderate success and are looking for ways to double or triple your current income, it's imperative that you make a commitment to an ongoing training program.

In this particular case, too much is not going to be enough. Take the time to identify some of the best in this business, odds are they've created a program to show you exactly how they did it. Make it a daily goal to read the material and try it at least once. If it doesn't work for you, move on. If it does, make it your own.

As Network Marketing continues to explode, you're either going to be in on the ground floor of something huge or you're going to get trampled. It all depends on whether or not you're willing to put forth the effort and do the work.

It is estimated that within the next ten years, almost all manufacturing companies will be using network marketing to sell their products. As the competition gets tougher, the cream is definitely going to rise to the top. If you're truly dedicated to being there, you owe it to yourself to check out all of the options available to you and start taking advantage of them.

Will Network Marketing Last?

Network Marketing: The beginning or the end?

For those us who have not yet joined the Network Marketing craze that has been sweeping our nation for the last twenty years, the questions remain "Can I really make any money working from home? And, If I didn't get in on the bandwagon in the beginning, is it too late?" The answer is a resounding yes - you can make money working from home and no, it's definitely not too late.

There are currently over half a million people in the United States that are millionaires. Over 20% of them have made their fortunes in the Network Marketing Industry. It is becoming more and more apparent that this phenomenon is not only here to stay but it's getting better and stronger every day.

Multilevel or network marketing is one of the only businesses available that allows a person with potentially no resources to start their own business with absolutely no limit on their financial success.

In the old days, many of us viewed network marketing as a scam and unfortunately many schemes lived up to that title. There are always bad apples in the bushel and this industry was no exception. The negative side to this business, however, was two-fold.

Obviously the worst scenario was the unsavory chap who decided to jump on the gravy train and easily took thousands of dollars away from well-meaning folks who just didn't do their research. If the equation is correct, every person that got taken in on a get rich scheme told ten other people about their unfortunate experience.

Let's face it, we all know somebody got stuck with hundreds of dollars of worthless products and watched their dreams of financial success go right down the drain. Any thoughts we may have been entertaining about taking a chance on finding financial freedom working from home went right out the window.

The other group responsible for solidifying the unsavory reputation of network marketing were the folks who truly believed that network marketing required nothing more of them than filling out the initial membership agreement.

Hundreds of thousands of people were led to believe that all they really had to do was join and then sit back and watch their downlines and their paychecks grow. Seriously though, as a society, we have a great difficulty taking responsibility for our own actions.

Consequently many of these folks blamed their failure, not on their own lack of commitment but on the industry itself. This is a business that has to be taken seriously and worked as such. If you're planning to sit on your couch and collect the money from your mailbox, odds are you're not going to be successful.

As more and more professionals become frustrated with corporate America, however, the industry will begin to benefit and continue to grow. Network marketing of today is not a get rich quick scheme. To be successful in this industry, you have to be willing to work and work hard in the beginning.

To its credit, network marketing has been able to overcome most of its lack of credibility and has regained its respectability in the eyes of the consumer. Courses on this growing trend are actually being taught in some of our most prestigious colleges and universities.

Advancing technology has made it easier for potential network marketers to research legitimate opportunities and the introduction of the internet in this industry has helped the reputable companies move to the forefront. The actual beauty of this industry lies in the concept of relationship selling.

In our high tech world, consumers are tired of the lack of personal service and crave the opportunity to form one-on-one relationships with the purveyors of the goods they purchase.

Who better to buy from than our friends, the people we trust and see on a regular basis? It only stands to reason then; that as the advancements in technology continue and consumers continue to be alienated from the personal touch they require the network marketing industry will grow exponentially.

Selling Yourself: The Key to Successful Network Marketing

If you've been working your program for a while and just aren't generating the results you need, it's time to take a step back and analyze just what it is you're trying to sell. If you're sending out emails and e-zines and newsletters like all the others that hit email boxes on a regular basis, odds are you're on the wrong track.

Marketing pieces that promise financials rewards, the freedom of owning your own business and ground floor opportunities, will not return interested prospects. The key to successful network marketing is actually much simpler. People do not like to be sold but they do like to buy and they will buy from people they like, trust and respect.

Now, sit down and think about that for a minute. Your potential prospects don't really care about the products or the compensation plans. What they're looking for is someone that they can go into business with.

Someone they can count on for motivation when the going gets rough and someone that has already done what they're trying to do and has done it successfully. So, go back to the drawing board.

Think about who you are and what you can do for the people who decide to take advantage of your opportunity. Think about what the program has done for you and how you've made it work. Reflect upon your training and identify what you liked and what you didn't.

Think about building relationships and lasting friendships, think about how rewarding it would be to help others like yourself move towards financial freedom. And then write it all down.

Make a list of things that you personally can offer to the people you recruit and bring into your business and then using that information, write your letter. Don't make false promises or hype it up. People are ignoring those messages by the boatloads. Concentrate on sincerity and warmth. Think partnership.

Once you've written your letter and are ready to assemble your packet, it's time to take a closer look at who your information says you are. We're not talking about the words now; we've already fixed that problem.

The appearance of your information, however, sometimes says more about you than the actual print. Is your information presented professionally? Does it tell your prospects that you're making money and thereby have it to spend or does it say you're barely making it and trying to get by?

Are you having your materials printed professionally or simply making black and white copies? Are your envelopes personally addressed or do they look like standardized junk mail? Do your packets make prospects want to work with you?

If not, it's time to go back to the drawing board. Keeping all of the above in mind, make the necessary changes. Even if you're not yet rolling in money, you've got to be able to make it look like you are.

Simply cutting back the number of packets you send out while making sure to maximize the ones that you can afford will immediately increase your actual return on investment while making your information the one that actually stands out in someone's mailbox.

These tips are not rocket science and with a little time and a little more effort you will begin to the results. Pass your success on to your downline and in no time at all, you'll be able to sit back and enjoy the rewards of owning your own successful network marketing business.

What is MLM and what can it do for you

Seriously Though, What is MLM?

We've heard the term a million times, we've watched the info-mercials and have possibly even come within inches of jumping onboard, but do we really understand the concept and the ins and outs of Multi Level or Network Marketing?

Amway seminars immediately come to mind and most women these days have been approached at least once by an independent consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. For the majority of us, the reality is blurry, buried in the back of our minds just in case we ever muster the courage to take the plunge.

Multi Level Marketing (MLM) is one of the fastest growing businesses today. In truth, it is not an industry but simply a marketing method for moving product from Point A to Point B. The concept spread like wildfire through the 80's, picked up a little negative press in the early 90's and has rebounded in the 21st century as the wave of the future.

Many people tend to confuse MLM or Network Marketing with Pyramid Schemes. Pyramids are actually illegal. The easiest way to identify a Pyramid Scheme is to ask yourself two simple questions. (1) What is the product? And (2) where it is going? Something has to move!

Multi Level Marketing moves product on various levels hence, it's name. Here's how it works. In MLM you are in business for yourself. You purchase products directly from a wholesaler at wholesale prices.

Product moves from Point A to Point B. You can, if you wish simply use these products for personal consumption or you can resell them at a retail price to make a profit. The most common misconception, however, is that you have to sell retail to be successful. Not true depending on the company you've chosen to work with.

In the majority of MLM programs, the true success comes from building the organization or your downline. Your sales will come as a result. Getting a little nervous? We mentioned the word sales.

That word will generate a negative response in almost 95% of the people who hear it. If you're seriously considering Multi Level or Network Marketing as a career, the first thing you need to do is instantly replace the word sell in your vocabulary with the word share. We all love to share and we were actually taught that skill when we entered kindergarten. If you can share, you will be successful in this business.

When you build your organization or your downline, what you're actually doing is building a network or a funnel for your product or service. The sale of a product comes when distributors share that product with family, friends, coworkers and/or neighbors. Now, visual a single thread from a spider's web.

As the spider continues to expand his web it continues to grow and reach in all directions. This is exactly how MLM works. As you meet people who are interested in doing what you're doing, you recruit them. You become responsible for their training, helping them to build a business of their own just like yours.

From that single thread becomes a massive web. Each thread that makes up that web ultimately leads back to you. Each thread is moving product from Point A to Point B either through their own personal use or the sharing of the product with their friends, family, coworkers and neighbors.

As your web expands you become the person at the top, the business owner who is successfully directing potentially hundreds or thousands of people who are busy moving that product or service from Point A to Point B.

Depending on how your particular program is set up, you are financially compensated for every person and the product they move. The most obvious difference between MLM and a Pyramid is that anyone can come into a network-marketing program and end up on the top. In a pyramid scheme, however, the top remains the top and very few people actually make any money before it collapses.

The products and services currently being sold via Multi Level Marketing continue to increase. Corporations are beginning to realize that the dollars they spend on advertising their products and attempting to identify their markets are better spent on the consumers themselves. Who do you prefer to purchase your consumables from, your best friend or the big chain down the street that doesn't pay any attention to you when you walk in the door?

Network Marketing: Converting Your Visitors to Buyers

Today, many network marketers are making the same mistake. They make the decision that they want to become network marketers. They choose a theme for their website, they design the site, add in their affiliate programs, and sit back and watch the traffic roll in. Unfortunately, however, the sales that the site generates are nowhere near their estimates and visitor to buyer conversion rates are minimal.

Hopefully, you're reading this article before you've gotten that far and won't have to spend a lot of time redoing your work, but the truth is, the process of converting a visitor to a buyer begins at the beginning and is difficult to add on at the end.

If you are one of those people, however, don't despair. You may be able to correct the problems with a few minor adjustments. The most important thing to remember when making the move into network marketing is why people are visiting a website in the first place.

If you're adding affiliate programs to an existing site, it's fairly simply to identify your audience. Let's take a look at an easy example. A website is created to market tours to a "supposed haunted house," the scene of a brutal mass murder in the early 1900's.

Publicity surrounding the house drives a fair amount of traffic to the site and frequent updates bring returning visitors back. A guestbook gives the webmaster a pretty good idea of who his visitors are and where their interests lie.
Using this information, he's able to pick and choose affiliate programs in the paranormal/spiritual realm that would have an interest to his visitors.

Taking advantage of his mailing list, he's able to send out personal recommendations on the products he's featuring. Because he's in constant touch with his visitors, he can measure responses and make changes accordingly to maximize potential sales. Because they already know and trust him, his visitors are 3x as likely to make purchases.

This case, however, is a perfect utilization of the concept of affiliate programs and a constant stream of income was fairly easy to garner. With the realization that network marketing and affiliate programs can be very lucrative, however, more and more sites are being created for just that reason.

Setting up a site like this is much more difficult, however, because you not only have to create the site but you have to be able to identify the needs of would-be visitors.

The easiest way to do this is to use search engine marketing.
This is a technique guaranteed to bring highly qualified buyers to your site. It does, however, have to start at the beginning. With over 700 million people on the internet at any give time, your market is endless and even a niche product is bound to sell well if you can attract those buyers directly to your door instead of allowing them to go somewhere else.

Of those 700 million people using the Internet, every 4th person is buying something at this very moment. Those sales will result in purchases totally over a billion dollars a month. Search engine marketing allows you to stop searching for buyers and allows them to start searching for you.
It can, be a difficult and time-consuming task.

There are many professional companies that offer these services; however, you'll have to be willing to invest some money to get their help. If you don't have the money to invest in having this professionally done, there are several good books on the market that can give you a few tips.

Remember, however, search engine marketing and search engine optimization are two different things.

MLM Leads - How They Work and How to Generate Them

What Are the Best Types of Leads for my MLM business?

Quite frankly, the best leads you can have for your Network Marketing program are the ones that you can generate yourself. The easiest way to generate leads to your specific business is to create an ad for your business and a web based lead capture page.

When people click on your ad, they are then directed to your site to complete their information and submit the form. You can place your ad on various high traffic websites and search engines that are selling space.

Although you'll pay for the ad, you know these people are definetely expressing an interest in your program and the return on your investment will be much higher than if you purchase your leads from a list company or lead broker.

If, however, you'd still prefer to purchase your leads or your ads aren't generating enough response in the beginning, there are several things you need to know before buying your leads from a broker. The first step is understanding what types of leads are available and how they are generated.

Opt-in leads: An opt-in lead is generated when a person completes and submits a form or chooses to receive information about a home based business. In many cases, a person is directed to a second page to complete the information and verify their interest.

It is important to remember, however, that all leads are not created equally and it's a good idea to doublecheck with your list broker on the qualifications before actually purchasing leads.

Many opt-in leads are collected when a person visits a site and before they can access whatever they want to access, they have to fill out a registration form. The form is either set up to click on the items to "opt-in" or to unclick the items to "opt-out".

Leads gathered with an "opt-out" form are not the best kind of leads for obvious reasons. If all of the boxes are automatically checked, many people don't realize that they can deselect particular items, consequently they will be bombarded from all of the advertisers, even if they were not interested in the offer.

Opt-in leads, however, do let you know that the interested party did actually check a box. The biggest challenge with Opt-in leads, however, is that these leads have probably been sold over and over and over. The other type of opt-in lead is captured when a prospect is directed to a form to complete after clicking on a banner or link.

They will complete a form that is requesting more information on a home based business opportunity. The ads are extremely generic, consequently allowing the Lead Company to sell these leads to a variety of buyers.

Incentived Leads are to be avoided at all costs. These leads are captured when a prospect responds to an offer to receive something for free. Although they may definetely have an interest in the product being offered; odds are they will have no interest in your program.
Surveyed leads are gathered when a visitor responds to several questions including whether or not they have any MLM experience and what companies they've worked with in the past. They may also be able to provide information on how much time a person wants to invest, how much money they plan to invest and how quickly they'd like to begin.

A variation of this survey lead is a phone-qualified lead. This lead is generated when a telemarketer makes a call and acquires answers to questions similar to those in a survey lead. These are the best leads you can buy and will run anywhere from $5.00 to $10.00 apiece. A slight variation of a phone-qualified lead is a phone-verified lead. Many people don't realize that there is a difference.

A phone verified lead simply means that a telemarketer called and confirmed the information. The information was not gathered in the call. These are definetely lower quality than qualified leads, as many people will simply agree with the caller to simply get them off the phone. If a prospect actually takes the time to provide the answers as in a phone qualified lead, however, the interest and intent is usually high.

Starting Your MLM Program - How to Make a Commitment

am  i Ready To Take The Plunge: Now What?

Once you've decided that you would like to pursue a career in Network Marketing, your first challenge is in finding a company with which to align yourself. Although there are a lot of people making a lot of money, it's important to remember that for every one that has succeeded, ten have failed.

This particular industry has a high failure rate that can blamed first and foremost on the fact that people jump in quickly, expect to become rich behind their wildest dreams and fall flat on their faces.

To avoid their mistakes, there are basically five things that you should look for when choosing a network marketing company.

The integrity of the organization itself should be the first thing you investigate. The definition of the word integrity is a steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. The questions to ask are (1) Do they have a good quality product? And (2) do they stand behind it? The worst situation you can find yourself in is choosing a company that offers a product that they will not stand behind or is of dubious quality.

A key to remember here is that your success in this business will ultimately depend on whether or not people will purchase the product or service you represent. As most of your sales will be to family members, friends and coworkers, the last thing you want to do is sell them something that doesn't deliver.

The second thing to investigate is whether the distributors or the shareholders drive a particular organization? If a company makes its decisions with the representative in mind, success is much easier to come by.

If they're a publicly traded company that has to answer to a board and it's shareholders, however, you may just find yourself caught between a rock and a hard place. For example, some of the best and most successful sales organizations are those run by executives that are actually out they're selling.

The first ones to fold are usually the ones that are made up of executives that have never done the job.

In addition to making sure that the company stands behind and offers a product or service of high quality, it is imperative that you actually enjoy and use the product you choose to represent. If you love it, you'll want to share it automatically, you'll want tell your friends and family about it.

When this comes naturally, your network marketing venture proceeds as if on it's own. As those same people watch your success, they'll also want to become involved and if they love the product as well, it's an easy decision for them to start buying wholesale themselves.

The fourth key to success is to find a company that has a proven system. You'll spend way too much time trying to develop your own and in most cases, people have come before you that have already worked out the kinks.

While you may not find this from the company itself, be sure and discuss it with your sponsor and others who have been successful. Your sponsors success is directly relative to your own so make sure this is a person that is doing well himself and is willing to be a team leader that shares his tips.

Finally, take a look at the management team behind the organization you're considering. Strong management is a must in any industry and this one is no exception. Industry experience is key. How long have they been in business? Check them out with the Better Business Bureau and the Direct Marketing Association.

Legimate companies should be more than willing to provide any information you request so ask for it. Start-ups come and go every day. It's imperative to your success that you align yourself with a company that has been and will be around for the duration.

The Network Marketer is a Story Teller

At heart, you as a network marketer are first and foremost a story-teller. Story-telling is one of the oldest and most enduring selling techniques. When you tell a story, you are teaching by example rather than through direct precept, and you’ll find that this method impacts people in a more powerful and subtle way than any direct selling technique.

How does story-telling work for you? Through the time-tested, proven technique of testimonials. Every day advertisers bombard you with claims about the wonders that certain products perform. And the greatest selling tool they use—the proof that their “stuff actually works”—is the testimonial. This is the direct testimony of a third party (who, hopefully, has not been compensated for their testimony).

You might begin by discussing a particular product you’re selling. For example, let’s say that it’s Acme Carpet Cleaner. You might begin a conversation by discussing your spring cleaning that you began last week. Every year you go through the same routine, dusting, brushing and clearing out the attic. Then you vacuum your carpet—but there’s a difficult stain that refuses to budge. So you mentioned that you finally used the perfect product to remove the stain.
Then you pause, for dramatic effect.

Your curious listener, impatient, finally queries, “What did you use to remove the stain?”

That’s your entrance. You mention Acme Carpet Cleaner and how effective a product it is. Discuss how long you’ve been using it, and the wide variety of purposes to which you’ve put it to use (it also works on tough stains on automobile carpet mats, for example). Pretty soon your listener is curious, and so you ask if she’d like a sample bottle for free.
Most likely she won’t refuse. Everyone loves that four-letter word “free”—but what’s this about a sample bottle, she asks?
You casually mention that you happen to be a distributor for Acme House Care

Products. That leads into a discussion of the work you do, how long you’ve been selling, and what a fine line of House Care Products that Acme sells. Soon you are explaining your business to your prospect, and they might just want to work with you.

Remember, you don’t have to be a high-pressured sales-person to be a network marketer. As a matter of fact, that type of selling—the kind you hear about from traditional sales training, where you’re taught things like “presumptive close,” and how to deal with all types of objections—is practically useless from a network marketing standpoint.
The reason is that you’re not supposed to be engaged in an argument to distribute your products. Either the products you’re selling perform as you claim they do, or they don’t. There are no ifs, ands or buts about it.
So you hand your friend a free sample bottle of Acme Carpet Cleaner, and it works just as you claimed. The next thing that happens is automatic. She raves to her friends about the Acme product, and pretty soon, she is “selling.”
That’s Network Marketing: story-telling, from one friend to another.

MLM and Network  Marketing: Step by Step Guide!

You have decided that you want to look into what everyone is talking about and get into network marketing.

What is Network Marketing?

-- MLM or network marketing is when you actually recruit other sales people into an organization or down line in order to sell products. This type of marketing has been confused with illegal pyramids in the past, but in actual fact, some of the largest marketing organizations such as Avon, Tupperware and Amway, to name just a few- can all be categorized as MLM. (Yahoo Dictionary)

Where do you start?
First, you have to find the business that you will find interesting and you will want to stick with.
Researching Yourself
Before you start looking at mlm companies you need to look at yourself. This will help you in your search.
  • Do you like to help people? If so, how?
  • What are your interests, likes, dislikes?
  • What past experience do you have that might help.
  • What type of things are you interested in?
Start Looking Around for Network Marketing Companies
It will not take long to find companies that are looking for you to join their team. In some cases, they might find you. You can go to many of the work at home portals and various job sites; just type in "work at home" or "home business" and you will find many. There are many websites that specialize in providing this kind of information to you through advertisements and message board entries that tell you what they do.
Talking to These Companies
Now you have looked around and chosen a few mlm companies you want to look into. What type of questions should you ask?
How long has the company been around?
What will I be doing?
What training is involved?
Will I have a mentor/sponsor to help me after the training?
How long have you been with the company?
How much will I be paid?
How long does it take before I start seeing results?
How will I be paid?
How much will it take for me to get started?
Are there any monthly/annual fees involved?
Some of these questions might seem rather blunt, however these are important for you to know before you make a decision about a network marketing business.
Do not agree to join until after you have had a chance to research the company. Give yourself a few days and set an appointment for them to call you back.
Research The MLM / Network Marketing Company
No matter what company it is, you should be able to research it.
Check with the Better Business Bureau- there are ways to check online companies as well.
Go to the work at home websites, and look for message boards and forums. Join and start asking questions. You might want to ask the same questions everywhere to see if you get the same responses. It is good to talk to more than one person within a company; this gives you a view from a different prospective. They might have different methods they use to be successful- and just because one person is successful it doesn’t mean everyone will be, and vice versa.
Go to the company’s main website and look around.
Weighing The Odds
Make a list with each company of the pros and cons that you have found in your research and from talking to people with each company.
There are some important things to keep in mind when deciding.
No matter how good the company is if you are not willing to work and be trainable you will not succeed.
You must go with a company that offers unlimited support or you will find yourself with questions that you cannot get answered.
You will be responsible for your own success in many ways.
You must train your downline. In most cases with Network marketing your success is dependant on your downlines’ success. For example: To move up to the next level, your downline must enroll and sign up a certain amount of business for you to promote. This can be frustrating at times but can be overcome with a good training system in place that includes proven multiple ways to generate results.
If you would rather be sitting on the couch watching soap operas and eating Bon-bons, this business is not for you.
You need to have an out-going, enthusiastic personality.
You can get over being shy, but you must be comfortable talking to people whether it is on the phone or in person, depending on the business.
You must believe in what you are doing to be successful at it, and in order for you to have the motivation to pick up the phone or to speak to someone about it. If you do not believe it is real then it won’t be. Once you find that company that you can stand behind, treat it as if it was yours, because after all- it is.
If you just opened a coffeehouse you would believe that your coffee was the greatest right? Same mental attitude applies here. There aren’t any “I will try it’s” in this business. You have to be a “I will do it” type person to survive and succeed in network marketing.
